Mark your Calendars....Come one, Come all to the infamous Shakopee Lions Winter Extravaganza being held on Saturday,     February 10, 2024 at the Jackson Township Park! This event includes multiple rinks of Pond Hockey for your viewing pleasure as well as the super fun 18 hole ice golf course carved out in the ice/snow,  There will be entertainment, food and drinks and great prize drawings, all to help local community members that need our help the most.  Your local Lions members will be selling Golf Buttons again this year so get them while they are hot.

Turtle’s 1890 Social Centre hosted the Lion’s annual Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 18^th. Lion Bob Guenin and his committee once again organized a thoroughly enjoyable and successful event.  Again, this year the Shakopee Lions hosted the "Shakopee's Got Talent" and variety show.  It was an evening of great musicians a comedian and even a one-man band!  The Lions and their spouses enjoyed a lavish buffet and afterwards were regaled with jokes and humorous anecdotes by a local comedian. Lions toasted another successful year of fund raising, charitable giving, and community engagement.
